Helping Patients
Sculpt their bodies
without invasive procedures
When patients receive CoolSculpting® treatments for non-invasive fat reduction, a specially designed cooling applicator is applied to the desired area of fat reduction. CoolSculpting® selectively damages subcutaneous fatty tissue while preserving the skin and surrounding tissues.1*
The CoolSculpting® device does not use needles, but works instead using a surface or vacuum applicator.2-4 This procedure is convenient for most patients. There is minimal expected downtime after CoolSculpting® treatment.5, 6

What results to expect:

CoolSculpting® has demonstrated
fat layer reduction of 27%
at 6 months in the lower abdomen1*
*Study conducted July 2009 – January 2011 on a total of 112 patients, with n=85 patients available for follow-up caliper evaluations. The average fat reduction at follow-up was 21.5%. The 27% reduction refers specifically to the lower abdomen (n=55). Average reductions in other treatment areas included: brassiere rolls 20% (n=4), lumbar rolls 22% (n=2), hip rolls 25% (n=20), inner thighs 17% (n=3), and medial knees 18% (n=1). Patients were treated at one or more sites for a total of up to four treatment areas in a single session.
